Through scriptural study, meditation, and prayer we become aware of the still, soft voice within. This gentle whisper heard in the quietness of a humbled heart awakens us to those experiences that enrich the soul.
The Almighty God revealed through the Holy Spirit his divinity to those who wrote down his message in the context of their own cultural, historical, and personal experiences. They used their own style, language, and minds to write what God inspired them to write.
Because the entire Holy Bible is God’s inspired word we can use it to guide our lives. Useful in teaching and correcting us, the Bible is the standard for synthesising all knowledge.

All of us would do well to set aside time everyday to read God’s holy word so that we can live a life of courage and confidence.
If you seldom read the Bible it might be helpful to begin with the Gospel of John in the New Testament. This spiritually inspired scroll will gently whisper the mystical, majestic message of God’s love for us all.

29 Sep 2013Inspired to do differently? Listen to that still small voice between chart note entries. Feel the reviving strength after contemplative prayer, take it with me every concious step. Translate the Bible's language into the language of my life, speaking in real time to inform my actions and the feelings from which that action emerges.
